If your Florida swimming pool has been closed for the winter then it’s time to start getting your swimming pool ready because spring is here. The sooner you start, the quicker you will be ready for the hot Florida days..

The first thing you should do is clear around your swimming pool and pump. Trim the hedges and branches, prune flowering bushes and flowerbeds, and rake up all of the leaves, clippings, and underbrush. Be sure to clean around your swimming pool pump and filter. Clear out all of the mulch and leaves, and trim any branches that have grown too close to any of your equipment.

If you have a pool cover it is time to take it off. Make sure you carefully get any water off of the top of your cover and then clean it off. If you can lay it on a hard surface, feel free to spray it off with a hose. Make sure you allow your swimming pool cover to dry off completely before folding and storing it.

Make sure to bring the water level up to your pools desired level. Make sure you remove any plugs from skimmer and returns, and put in your skimmer baskets. In Spring is the time you do your most thorough swimming pool cleaning and we have the supplies to help.
